James R. Fox - Among his many interests, James R. Fox enjoys spending time with his wife, Michele, two (2) daughters, Alexa and Isabella, and his son Preston. His is also an avid outdoor enthusiast. Born in Elkins, West Virginia on November 27, 1965, Mr. Fox graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from West Virginia University. Mr. Fox graduated Magna Cum Laude, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and the Golden Key National Honor Society. After graduation, Mr. Fox went on to attend West Virginia University College of Law, graduating in 1991 with the distinction of being inducted into the Order of the Coif. During law school, Mr. Fox participated in the Lugar Trial Association and represented West Virginia University in national trial competition.

Mr. Fox is admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Fox is a former member of the West Virginia Legislature and the West Virginia State Bar Board of Governors. Through these positions, he was instrumental in developing important public policy applicable to the citizens of West Virginia.

Mr. Fox is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Fox enjoys the challenge and dynamics of the courtroom. He has extensive litigation experience involving a variety of personal injury and products liability litigation, as well as complex criminal defense.
