A West Virginia woman is suing a trucking company after she said the truck pulled off of a private road and into the path of the car she was travelling in, causing a truck accident that resulted in injuries to her and another passenger.
When a tractor-trailer is involved in an accident the other car involved is often heavily damaged. The large size of commercial vehicles often protects truck drivers, but might be hazardous to other people on the road. In this case, the woman says the crash was a result of the truck driver's negligence, and cause her injuries, pain and suffering, and diminished capacity to enjoy life.
After an accident, people often just want to move forward with their life. However, injuries can sometimes make it difficult for a person to do the things they once enjoyed. Both physical limitations and financial strain can result in a person having to alter their lifestyle after an accident.
Negligence of another driver, shouldn't mean a person can't do the things they have always loved doing. Sometimes with accommodations and intense therapy, a person would be able to do the activities they once could do without assistance.
A West Virginia personal injury attorney can help a person who is involved in a truck accident understand their rights and seek compensation. This compensation might be used to help a person pay for medical expenses, as well as adapt to changes in their lifestyle that they might need because of a disability resulting from the injuries.
