West Virginia couple die in a fatal car accident

The potential to be involved in a car accident is one of the unfortunate realities of being a motorist. Most drivers do not willfully engage in behavior that may cause hazardous driving conditions for other motorists on the road. Despite the possible causes, fatal car accidents are undoubtedly the most tragic driving-related events. One such accident is the West Virginia car accident that ended with two tragically killed and two others with non-life threatening injuries.

An elderly couple were reportedly returning home from a Sunday evening spent at church when the wreck occurred. Allegedly, the elderly couple drove into the path of an oncoming SUV when they started through an intersection. Initial reports state that the collision resulted in one of the vehicles overturning.

The driver and passenger of the SUV were taken to a local hospital to receive care for their injuries. Unfortunately, the elderly couple died in the accident. Additional information on this tragic accident is still forthcoming, as the accident is still being investigated.

West Virginia drivers, like most motorists in the rest of the country, make an effort to avoid being involved in car accidents. Unfortunately, a car accident is an ever-present possibility for any motorist entering the roadway. Car accidents can lead to injuries that can affect individuals for the rest of their lives. Even though engaging in safe driving techniques can lower a driver's possible involvement in a car accident, accidents involving negligence still happen. In this particular incident, the injured parties could possibly file personal injury lawsuits against the estate of the deceased if the deceased couple is found to be at fault.
