Several defective products recalled, including stuffed animals

Consumers in West Virginia may be currently using or have products in their homes that have recently been recalled by their manufacturers. The recalls are for defective products ranging from stuffed animals to headsets. Also included in the recalls are denim pants designed for children.

Over 33,000 Build-A-Bear toy dragons have been recalled since the stuffing may pop out of the animals because an animal's seam can open. This poses a choking hazard for kids. The dragons were sold at the company's stores as well as online at its website from April 2015 to August 2015.

Ear Force XO FOUR Stealth headsets for gaming have also been recalled because mold spores have been found on these headsets. The spores pose a risk of infections, including respiratory infections, for people suffering from chronic health issues. More than 59,000 headsets, which can be used with the Xbox One gaming system, have been sold, and there have been six reports regarding mold on headsets.

Some Nursery Rhyme Play denim pants have also been recalled because the zipper pull has the ability to detach, and a young child can choke on it. More than 8,000 of these pants were sold between June 2015 and September 2015 at Belk store locations and online at the company's site. If people in West Virginia end up suffering harm as a result of these types of defective products, it is within their right to assess all of their legal options in an effort to right any wrongs, which may include demanding financial damages sustained by using the products.
