Three-car crash leaves four people injured, one serious

| Jul 19, 2013 | Car Accidents

When a serious car wreck occurs in West Virginia a person should be aware of his her legal rights. An experienced attorney can work to find out all of the details of the crash and cover every angle that may have played a role in the accident.

A three-vehicle crash recently in West Virginia involving an SUV, a sedan and a commercial pickup truck left four people injured and one of them in serious condition. One female involved in the crash had to be flown to a nearby hospital for treatment of her injuries. Authorities have not said what caused the accident and it is not known if alcohol or excessive speed played a role in the crash.

The accident reportedly happened as one of the vehicles slowed down to turn off the road. Apparently the car behind it did not slow down and slammed into the first vehicle. It then subsequently passed over the center dividing line and ran into another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The extent of the injuries was not known at the time of the report. Whether or not the commercial pickup truck was on duty at the time of the crash has also not been reported. If it was, this could have several legal implications.

If someone has acted irresponsibly and caused another person to be injured an experienced auto accident attorney may be able to help those who have been hurt. A jury may also find that the person who has been injured should be compensated for his or her pain and suffering.
