Mean Green among latest defective household products recalled

Since their release, Mean Green cleaning supplies have been steadily increasing in popularity. They are in thousands of homes across the United States, including many homes in West Virginia. Unfortunately, some of the products made and sold by Mean Green are now considered defective household products.

The very popular cleaning supply giant known as Mean Green has recently recalled some of its cleaning products intended for residential and commercial use. The product being recalled is the Mean Green Cleaner and Degreaser in both super and industrial strengths. The reason for the recall is because the product is improperly labeled.

The label states that the product does not contain ammonia. However, some of the bottles do actually contain ammonia. Therefore, there is a risk for serious injury if the products with ammonia are mixed with certain other chemicals.

The products were sold nationwide. The most popular stores where the Mean Green household cleaning products were sold include Dollar General, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Walmart and Fred's. The date codes on the recalled bottles start at 4225 and end at 4230. These products should be returned immediately to the retail store where they were purchased in order for consumers to receive replacements.

Cleaning supplies and products are a necessity in every West Virginia home. However, these products should not pose a health or injury hazard to consumers. When someone is injured due to defective household products, that person may want to seek out the legal remedies that are available to them. By taking legal action, one may be awarded compensation for any injuries sustained because of a defective product, while ensuring that similar injuries are not suffered by others in the future.
