West Virginia car accident leads to 5 injuries

Several people were recently injured in a West Virginia car crash. The car accident involved two vehicles and occurred along Route 12, in the vicinity of a line dividing two counties. The incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday.

According to police, witnesses said that the person driving a black car ended up losing control of the vehicle. This vehicle breached the road's center line and entered the left lane. It then struck a red vehicle head on.

The person driving the red automobile suffered minor injuries in the head-on collision, as did two children who were passengers in the back seat. All occupants were taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, the red car's passenger suffered injury to the leg in the accident and was transported to the hospital via helicopter. The black car's driver also suffered injuries; this person, who reportedly did not have a safety belt on, was flown to the hospital in critical condition. Police did not know whether or not alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The driver of the black car that allegedly went over the road's middle line may be held liable for the injuries resulting from the West Virginia car accident. The other injured parties have the right to file personal injury claims against this driver to seek monetary damages. A financial award may help them to cover their hospital and other medical expenses in addition to covering the loss of wages, if applicable. Complete proof of negligence is necessary to establish liability in this type of civil court case.
