Although you may have filed a workers’ compensation claim, it does not mean that you are automatically limited to workers’ comp benefits. Under certain conditions, injured workers are eligible to file personal injury claims in addition to workers’ comp claims. A personal injury claim — such as a claim against the manufacturer of defective drilling machinery — can provide significant financial compensation.
